We employ a method of interaction with our visitors that does not compromise credit card information. This online system is 100% secure.

A note about the Fair Credit Billing Act. Under this act, your bank limit your total loss and cannot hold you liable for than fifty dollars of reported fraudulent charges. In the event your card is used in a fraudulent manner, you must notify your bank or card issuer immediately and in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card to conduct commerce on our site. If you wish and live within the United States, you may also send us a Money Order (only) or a personal checks. Personal checks will delay your order as we must wait for your funds to clear before we ship any merchandise.

Payments made by Money Order will be shipped once the Order/payment is received. Please allow 2 weeks for delivery. For payments made by check please allow 4 weeks for delivery. To order by check or money order, just print the order form with your shopping cart contents from the order confirmation page and complete the necessary fields, then mail the form to the address on the order form.

Return / Refund Policy

Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. Within 30 days of the delivery post mark, you may return a book or defective CD for a refund of the actual cost of the returned item. No refunds of shipping costs. No refunds for non-defective CDs. The printed invoice included with the original shipment (or a copy of the invoice) must be included. Returns will be accepted that are return post marked within 30 days of the delivery post mark. Return of any item return post marked over 30 days after the delivery post mark will not be accepted. Bulletin Board Registration

Mountain Top Enterprises LLC requires a valid e-mail address for users who want to participate in the Soul Food Cookbook message board forums. This allows us to protect our community from abusive postings and provides a verifiable point of contact should legal questions arise. At any time, you have the ability to keep your e-mail address hidden from other users by selecting that option within your user profile.
Also in the forum registration, you have the option of providing some additional information such as occupation, interests, and homepage URL. This information is made available to other bulletin board users to foster a sense of community. If you have any concerns about providing this information, simply leave the fields blank and your registration will still be processed.

Newsletter Subscription

Mountain Top Enterprises LLC offers an option to subscribe to a periodic newsletter regarding Soul Food Cookbook's activities, promotions, announcements and news items.
The only piece of information required is the user’s e-mail address, which is only used to distribute the requested newsletter.
There are various other optional questions that are asked upon registering for the newsletter, but no answers are required.
Answers from these optional questions are not used to track individual users, but totals and aggregates from the collected information are used.
